lotus blossom thank you

I used items from our Sale-a-Bration catalog for this creation.  I fell in love with the Irresistably Yours DSP as soon as I saw it.  There are so many ways to use this paper in your creations ... sponge it, spray it, color it, leave it.  There are 6 different designs in the pack for you to enjoy creating with.

The products I used are:
stamps - lotus blossom
papers - whisper white, crisp cantaloupe, pool party, irresistably yours dsp
inks - crisp cantaloupe, calypso coral, pool party, pistachio pudding
accessories - sponge dauber, basic pearls

make a wish

This is one of several cards I've made recently.  I really like using this sentiment from the Perfect Pennants stamp set.  I pushed myself to use the Confetti Celebration DSP for this card along with Bermuda Bay.  You can see from my past creations that I don't use vivid colors on a regular basis so this was a challenge for me.

 The products I used are:
stamps - perfect pennants
papers - whisper white, bermuda bay, confetti celebration dsp
ink - bermuda bay
accessories - banners framelits, bermuda bay sequin trim

busy, busy, busy ...

Hello!  I'm sorry I haven't been here for a while.  I've been busy creating and preparing for vendor/craft fairs I'm participating in starting next week.  I will have quite a bit to share with you as I get it completed ... I've carved out a bit of time to schedule a few posts for now and will share with you as soon as I can on the rest of my creations.  And for now, here you go ...

I created this card for my nephew-in-law when his grandfather passed away.
I pulled out some sets that I don't use on a regular basis and this is what I came up with.

The products I used are:
stamps - hardwood background, lovely as a tree, petite pairs
papers - very vanilla, crumb cake, night of navy
ink - crumb cake
accessories - banner framelits, circle framelits, window frame framelits

warmest wishes

I created this card for my mother-in-law's birthday.  I wanted to make sure it had a feminine look and wasn't "winter" looking.  I opted to go for more of a "spring" look because I think we're all about ready for some spring here in the Midwest.

The products I used are:
stamps - Blooming with Kindness
papers - very vanilla, sahara sand, rose red
inks - Memento tuxedo black
accessories - gold sequin trim, labels collection framelits, modern mosaic embossing folder, Blendabilites (pink pirouette & wild wasabi)

mini treat bag framelit

I gained inspiration from Jan McClurg for this creation.  She used the Celebrate Today stamp set with the balloon framelits on her creation and I loved it as soon as I saw it in the stack of swap cards I received.  I do not have that set so I decided to use one that doesn't see the light of day all that often.  I chose to leave it sentiment/greeting free so that I can choose it's purpose later.

The products I used are:
stamps -  mixed bunch
papers - whisper white, coastal cabana, crisp cantaloupe, lullaby dsp
inks - hello honey, crisp cantaloupe, coastal cabana
accessories - mini treat bag framelits, blossom punch

thinking of you

Here's a card I made for one of my card clubs.  I fell in love with this image as soon as I saw it in the Occasions catalog.  I chose not to do shading on the image to keep the card simple.

The products I used:
stamps - moon lake, gorgeous grunge
papers - crumb cake, early espresso, naturals ivory
inks - crumb cake, black memento
accessories - blendabilities:  wild wasabi, smoky slate, crumb cake, soft sky
